This dark green diarrhea could be due to intestinal parasites, a GI illness, or eating something rotten. If Toby isn't up to date on his deworming treatments, I would get one from the vet. If he is up to date on his deworming treatments, you can try a home remedy before taking him to the vet. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, he starts vomiting food, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.

Hello, and thank you for your question. I'm sorry to hear that Honey is not feeling well! Diarrhea can be caused by intestinal parasites, gastroenteritis (infection), food indiscretion, pancreatitis, or even stress. I would recommend taking Honey to the vet if her diarrhea does not improve in the next 12-24 hours, as the water loss from her diarrhea can quickly lead to dehydration. In the meantime, you can try fasting her for 8 hours, then start offering her a bland diet of boiled chicken and plain white rice. Small frequent meals (e.g. 1-2 tbsp every 2-3 hours) can be given for a few days, if she is improving. You can also try adding a probiotic supplement such as Fortiflora which can help to restore her normal gut flora. I hope this helps, and that Honey is feeling better soon!
