This rapid breathing you are seeing in Noah may be due to him dreaming. Puppies dream, and it can be accompanied by movements and changes in breathing. If his breathing is normal during the day, I would not worry about it :-)

Yes, this could be normal. He could be hot when sleeping. In addition, puppies and dogs dream, and they can have breathing responses to their dreams. If he isn't doing this when awake, you may not need to worry about it. I hope this helps.

This is normal and of no cause for concern. Puppies will breath faster when asleep. Their respirations will decrease as they mature. If he is not lethargic, coughing and has no discharge from his eyes or nose, don't worry.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If Bleu is normal when he is awake: eating, playing, pooping/peeing, no couging and not breathing that way awake then he is normal. Very young puppies breath very differently then adult dogs when they are in a deep sleep. I wish you the best!
