Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Female | spayed | 10 years and 1 month old | 11 lbs
I have a white cat (age 10) and she has a bald spot at the back of her neck, almost upper back area. It started out small but only seems to be getting bigger. Her skin in this area is visible and is light pink (looks healthy) and she doesn’t move away when I touch it so I presume it’s not infected. It’s not flaky or has any scabs either. What’s wrong with her and how can I get her better?

Have you applied any flea or topical medicine to that area recently as that is common for a reaction to medicine? If not she myabhave rubbed against something irritating. Try to clean the area with mild soap and water. Since it is not inflamed and no scabs, there are not any topicals that can help. It will take time for the hair to regrow. If it continues to spread you may need antibiotics in case there is an infection
