I want to adopt a labrador puppy. But i am unable to check whether the puppy is healthy and not a cross breed. Can u help me

You should ask for, and be given, a certified pedigree of at least three (preferably five) generations to assure that your puppy is purebred. Also, you should see the AKC registration forms of the sire and dam, and be given an application to register your individual puppy.
