Poor Ellie! It is difficult to say from the picture but it looks like a discharge from that nostril. If she is having This from both sides of her nose This could be an upper respirstory infection, the canine flu, or even pneumonia. If it is only on one side then I would be more concerned about a bacterial infection, a fungal infection, or even a tumor in the nose. I would have your vet take a look at her so they can determine the cause and get her started on the proper meds. Your vet will be able to do blood work, X-rays and even bacterial or fungal cultures if needed. I hope this helps!
