Why aren't my dog's dry bumpy skin sores healing with cream?

Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Pinscher | Female | spayed | 12 lbs

Has dry bumpy sores first on her face moved up on the top of her head has one on her front leg when I took her to the vet they just told me to use Cortizone cream but it doesn't seem to be going away it will slightly get better but not go away and she's gotten more Never easy just dry and bumpy and does the skin there haslock on the one leg that has the sore

This really looks like a skin infection. I would recommend having a recheck and it looks like she should be on an oral antibiotic that is effective for skin infections. Your vet may also want to make sure that this is not a fungal infection.
