Why did my parakeet die suddenly after showing few symptoms?

Question

Last nite I my 3 yr. old parakeet died. It happen very fast. I notice he wasn't eating as much 2 days prior then watery stools. I had planned to take him to vet today buy passed last nite. Any thoughts? Up until this he was fine, playing, singing etc. Thanks for any help Debbie. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | 3 years and 7 months old

I am so sorry to hear that this has happened to your Sunshine. Based on your description of what happened and how quickly he passed away I would be concerned about a disease process in his liver, kidneys, or heart. Oftentimes with these types of diseases, the birds will not show symptoms or let you know they are sick at all, which makes it very difficult to determine what is going on and to know how to treat them. Since his disease process occurred so quickly there was probably nothing you could have done treatment wise to help him. I’m so sorry for your loss.
