My kitten is throwing up worms. Is a vet visit or OTC medicine best?

19wk old kitten throwing up food with worms. Is it serious enough for a vet visit or just need to pick up some over the counter medicine?

Well, I think the safest plan would be to have him seen by your veterinarian. My concern with would be if he is vomiting then he may have an obstruction from a large mass of worms. My other concern would be that if he is vomiting he may not hold down the medication to clear the parasites. I would also recommend you take one of the worms with you to the veterinarian to determine what type of worm it is so they can prescribe the most effective treatment.
