Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered
Our 5 and a half month old kitten has recently been throwing up a yellow liquid. This has happened 4 times now and what makes it extra weird is that it is always super early in the morning and in the exact same spot. We are planning on taking him into the vet this week but are wondering if it could be serious and we should take him in immediately. Any advice you can offer would be very appreciated.

Yellow liquid sounds like bile, it is produced in the gall bladder then released to help digestion. However it can be quite irritant to the stomach if there are no contents and sometimes causes vomiting. It could be that he is overproducing bile or simply has a sensitive tummy. It might be worth leaving him some biscuits out overnight to see if feeding helps settle him. Otherwise your vet will be able to give him a thorough examination and decide if he needs further investigations. Best of luck.
