My parrot is having a seizure-like attack, head bent back. What to do?

Hello Sir, It is the case of extreme emergency. My parrot gets some sort of attack and its head bends behind and body vibrates. It screams in pain. It is midnight and we are unable to find any bird vet doctor. What to do. Thank You. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | unneutered | 0.6 lbs

I am so sorry to hear that this is going on with your bird. It sounds like Chiku may be having a seizure. Unfortunately there is not much you can do to stop the seizure. You can however prevent him from injuring himself during the episode by holding him gently in a large, soft towel until the episode passes. Hopefully in the morning you will be able to get him to an avian veterinarian that can help figure out what is going on. I hope this helps. Best of luck.
