My dog's poop has a white worm, but he's acting normal. What now?

My dog's feces had a white ish colored long worm. He is acting normal but we are very nervous.

Hello. It looks like Jeter either has a tapeworm or round worm infection. These can come from eating rodents, fleas or from another dog's feces. save the poop and take it to your vet for a fecal egg test, once the parasite is identified your vet can get you a dewormer that is safe and effective. I would not recommend the over the counter ones since identification of the parasite isn't known. It's no emergency but I'd get an appointment when you can next.
