My playful dog is licking, gagging, and eating little. What's wrong?

My 1 yr and 6mo dog keeps licking eats a lil gags on things and playful but I'm worried. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 95 lbs

If this has gone on for over a few hours then I would recommend that he be examined by a veterinarian. Many issues can cause this. Oral or esophagus trauma from chewing on something dangerous, he could be nauseated from any number of problems. He could even have something stuck in his mouth or esophagus. Good luck, and I hope he is back to normal soon.
