My cat has fleas, Hartz collar failed. Can I use flea drops safely?

Hello I have a year and a half old cat and he has fleas. I put a collar on him and he's still itching, even worse than before. Is it ok to give him drops too? The brand of the collar and drops is hartz. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 15 lbs

Hello, I would consider using an alternative product. There has been increased number of adverse reactions with the hartz flea product and would not feel comfortable using both concurrently. I would recommend using either the collar or the drops. Alternatively, there are other products in the market you could consider as well such as advantage or frontline.
