Pet's info: Dog | Great Pyrenees | Male | unneutered | 85 lbs
My 10 month Pyrenees has a black spot on his lower eye.. towards the white/pink third eyelid.. I just started noticing it a few days ago. Doesn't seem to bother him

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. I would not be alarmed by this finding. Some dogs contain more pigment (called melanin) in the eye or different areas of the body for that matter. I would bring this to your veterinarians attention and take photos of it weekly to make sure there are no changes in size or appearance. If it becomes raised or irritating then I would have this further looked at by a veterinarian or a Veterinary ophthalmologist. Otherwise, if he is not bothered by this I would just monitor for now.
