My dog keeps licking her paws excessively. Why is she doing this?

My dog licks her paws too much, is that normal?

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. This could be a sign of allergies or a behavioral problem. If Lexi is on grass often, this may be the cause. If so, I would make sure to wash the feet after coming in contact with grass. I would also recommend using Douxo PS calm shampoo, essential 6 spot on by dermoscent and welactin omega 3 fish oil. Benadryl can also be used and most veterinarians will recommend 1mg per 1lb of body weight every 12 hours. If this does not help, I would have her examined by a veterinarian for further treatment / recommendations. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
