Why is my dog's poop purple, but he's acting completely normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 8 months old | 35 lbs

My dog has took two purple poops. Otherwise acting completely normal. Inside of poop is normal color. Did not feed him anything out of the normal

Any weird color like that is almost always something they ate that is causing it. Any chance Dennis got into something like crayons? Plants outside? If you can't think of anything I would not worry too much about it as long as he is acting fine. If it continues to happen however, I would take him to your vet for an exam. Hope this helps.
