My young puppy keeps destroying her bed. How can I make her stop?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 30 days old | 4.2 lbs

We have a 4 month old beagle that has a nice bed that she loves to sleep in, but during the day in her most active time she always tries to tear it apart. How can we postively get her to stop? We had to throw away one bed because she chewed a hole in the bottom.

I would recommend making sure that Rylee has a good amount of exercise during her most hyper part of the day. Most dogs that chew on materials is due to mild anxiety and lots of unused energy. Also you could try to replace the bed with something he can chew on when you see this type of behavior. I hope that helps
