Now i've brought a new cat to my house she is 2years old and althought i've steamed some parts in order to destroy the virus but i'm still worried that my new cat will be infected, what can i do about it?how to completely clean the house?

Hi and thanks for your post. FIP is actually not a very contagious disease. Once the infection starts, only a small amount of virus is shed by the cat. Direct contact with the infected cat is the most common way of transmission as well as an infected mother to kitten transmission or direct contact with stool. The virus only can live three weeks outside of a host. Therefore it is unlikely your new cat will be exposed to the virus. No need to worry. I hope this helps and I wish you and your new cat the best!
