Drinking and urinating more frequently can be a sign of a bladder or kidney infection, kidney disease, diabetes, elevations in calcium level, liver disease and some other internal medical issues. If you've recently changed Bruno's diet there's a possibility this is also occurring due to a higher sodium level in the diet. Because increased drinking can be a sign of serious illness I'd recommend taking Bruno to see your veterinarian. It's likely a blood and urine test will need to be done. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I hope the cause of Bruno's increased drinking can be determined and he's doing better soon!
