My Yorkie has diarrhea then constipation after meds. What to do?

My Yorkie had an MRI Last Monday due to some stumbling and a sloppy gait Nothing significantly showed up except a disc issues No brain problems They put him on prednisone to help with any inflammation and started having diareah he is also on Metronidazole . He will only eat boiled chicken. Now he's not had a bowel movement in two days. I can't seem to get this back and forth under control I am looking for advice. E. You can try a small amount of canned pumpkin or low salt green beans to help him go to the bathroom. They also make canine probiotics that can help regulate the bacterial population to get things nornal again. you can also try low fat yogurt to help.
