Why is my cat shaking head, not eating, and pawing her mouth?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 years and 5 months old | 17 lbs

2 year old mixed breed cat acting unusual can eat but doesn't want to engage in anything can walk okay but doesn't eat much don't know what's wrong with her she's been fixed and had her shots she's just acting different and kind of shakes her head a lot she wants to be left alone but she will let me pick her up just don't know what's wrong with her when she eats she shakes her head like she's trying to get something out of her mouth and she uses her hand to rub at the side of her mouth

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I recommend taking Bella to a vet for a full exam. She may have something stuck in her mouth, like a string, or she could have a bad tooth. Cats that don't eat can get sick very quickly. Good luck and kisses to Bella!
