My dog dry coughs, chokes, vomits often. Is it a throat problem?

My dog does this weird thing where she randomly chokes and dry coughs, we ruled out kennel cough and it's not reverse sneezing. I also realized she throws up a lot either spitting up after eating or drinking or just randomly. I feel like it's something with her throat? Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 16 days old | 30 lbs

Your veterinarian could potentially perform cervical radiographs to see if something is seen. If nothing is seen and this is highly suspected, then other imaging such as endoscopy may be indicated. Her vomiting could be due to a variety of reasons such as foreign body ingestion/obstruction, dietary indiscretion, among many other possibilities. Your veterinarian could also assess this issue with general labwork and abdominal radiographs. Good luck and have a good evening!
