My senior Chihuahua has a hernia. Is surgery safe at her age?

My 11 year old chihuaha has had 2 hernias near her private part. I had one removed a few months ago for $500 and the other one is getting bigger. I want to take her to get the other one out. Do you think it's safe at her age to have sugery? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | 11 years old | 7 lbs

11 years of age is not super old for this breed, not doing the surgery will potentially put her in a more risky situation, i would definitely recommend having the surgery done, you might want to have a blood test done before the surgery just to check that everything is fine with her health.
