My conure is laying too many eggs and it hurts her. What can I do?

My sun conure, Lucy, has been laying an egg about every three weeks. This last egg hurt her so much that she wasn't able to move or hold herself up for around 3 days. (She's 19 years old) What can I do to stop this excessive egg laying?

Take her to an avian vet, there is an injection that can be done to stop the reproductive system working temporarily, it's usually not the best solution but given her age it is the best option you have.
