My newborn puppy is very weak and barely moving. What can I do?

One of my dog's puppy is not reaponding well. Very weak and hardly move. I noticed it today. They were born last sept 5. Unfortunately vet os very expensive and we cannot afford thats why I am hoping I can get an answer from here. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female

HI there and thank you for posting your question on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am sorry to hear the puppy is not responding well a day after birth. It is hard to say exactly what the cause is for this sight unseen, but infectious or congenital causes could be at play. Keep the puppy warm and try and position it so he can drink from mom. If he can't and is too weak, you can buy puppy formula at your local pet supplies store and give it small amount of warmed formula every 30 mins until he perks up.
