Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Male | neutered | 9 lbs
My 8yr old male Himalayan has suddenly developed bald patches with red sores almost like chicken pox and is losing fur in clumps. I've also noticed his skin will twitch alon his back where these patches are

The most common reason for lesions like this is parasites like fleas. I would make sure to use a flea prevention every 30 days. Also it appears the skin could be infected so I would recommend taking her to the vet to determine if fleas are the cause or possibly another allergy and get proper treatment like antibiotics to resolve the skin issues. Pets can be allergic to fleas and even 1 flea bite can cause very itchy skin. hope that helps
