My new puppy has a skin rash. What should I do before the vet?

My new pup has this skin rash and I'm not sure what to do. My other dog doesn't have it and they been playing together for the past 3 days. My vets gone til Wednesday, hoping to get a sense of what it is before then. Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | 2 months and 12 days old | 11 lbs

This is probably caused by an allergic reaction. first of all make sure you de-flea Dommino regularly every month with a high quality spot on (ex. Advantage) as fleas are by far the most common reason for these reactions. If the fleas are not the problem, it could be an allergic reaction to food or an environmental factor. this is more complicated to treat and will sometimes require medications such as Steroids, anti histamines or cyclosporin in order to stop the allergy.
