Hello. How often does a Maltese needs bathing? White coat on a pet is my least favorite color

I would bathe no more than once per week. Many dogs can go much longer between baths depending on their lifestyle and how short their coat is. Unless there is a medical problem, no dog requires bathing, but dogs with long hair can get mats that can cause different issues.
