Why is my guinea pig suddenly not moving and just laying down?

My guinea pig doesnt want to move around much. Seems to have started today. She just keeps laying down. Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other

I am so sorry to hear about Cheese! I would check all over her body for any pain/swelling/bruising. Move her legs around and press on her belly to check for sensitivity. If she will allow you to look in her mouth look and see if there is food inside the mouth. If you see no little bits of food that is a sign that she has not been eating and is concerning. If you aren't sure if she has been urinating and having normal bowel movements I would clean the cage and then observe her closely today. If urine and bowel movements don't appear normal or she isn't eating or drinking, or if the lethargy continues she should see a vet right away as these little guys can decline quickly when they are ill.
