Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The puppy looks like a Labrador Retriever. You can take the puppy to the vet now to be dewormed and a physical done. Bring a stool sample. We start vaccines at 6 weeks with the DHPP vaccine (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza and parvovirus). We give that vaccine every 3 weeks until 14-16 weeks. The Rabies vaccine is given based on your countries laws. In the US that is between 12-16 weeks. I recommend feeding a commercial puppy food like Purina puppy chow. Dry food is fine. Use the bag as a guideline then increase or decrease the amount based on how the puppy grows. Dogs are fine being solo pets. Congratulations on your puppy!
