Why is my cat coughing, breathing hard, and acting very weak?

Doctor I have a female calico cat about 2 years now, about 8 months ago her desexing was done. She was well after after that but now, she coughs often and always stomach area contracts and relaxes hardly, like breathing hardly she seems very weak.

Hi there. Sorry Kitty is having this issue. Her symptoms should not be related to the desexing surgery at all. Not after 8 months. Any time a cat has labored breathing or coughing they should see a vet. Those are not specific signs for any one disease process or issue. That being said, it sounds like she may have asthma or bronchitis. Of course pneumonia is also possible. I would recommend you get her to a vet for an exam as soon as you can to get it figured out.
