Why would my 6 month old pitbull puppy pee in my lap in her sleep? She is unspayed.

There are a few possibilities. The first is that her bladder was too full before falling asleep. You may need to take her out more frequently, and especially before nap or bedtime. The second is that she has a congenital malformation in where her ureters attach to the bladder (called ectopic ureter) making leakage more probable. Less likely would be UTI, urinary bladder stones other sources of bladder inflammation, or even kidney disease. I would start by taking her outside more frequently and watching to make sure she urinates before coming back inside. If you do this and the problem still occurs, a vet checkup would be a good idea.
