You could use either meds for allergy like steroids or Apoquel and give her a bath with mild and neutral shampoo (like oatmeal shampoo or Coatex aloea vera). The cause of allergy seems seasonal/environmental one, but ideally the underlying cause must be discovered. Three main type of allergies are usually affecting pets: food allergies, flea and parasite related ones and environmental type (allergens coming from trees, pollens, dust etc etc). Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.

Hi there and thank you for your post! For allergies, you can give over the counter Benadryl. For Precious, I would give 1/4 of a 25mg Benadryl tablet every 8-12 hours. You can also administer 1-2 drops of Zaditor (Ketotifen Fumarate) antihistamine eye drops 2-3 times per day. If you do not have her on fish oil, I would start her on Welactin omega 3 fish oil and also look into essential 6 spot on by Dermoscent. If the allergies are worsening and these do not help, I would get her seen by your vet for an exam and further treatment. There are many options available at your vet's office for relieving allergies. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions / concerns. I am also available via consultation.
