My 2 year old lab mix has a red bump on her nose. We noticed it last week and it had seemed to get smaller, but now is large again and it gets irritated with she plays with other dogs and sometimes gets a little scab on top. It kind of looks like a large pimple but it's very round and quite raised.

If it went down in size earlier, then that would be a good sign that this is a certain type of cyst or benign (non-cancerous) tumor. However, many tumors can look similar to this one and some of them are not benign. Since it is small, and you've seen it go down before, it would be worth waiting a couple of weeks to see if it shrinks again. If it does not go down, gets bigger or continues to be irritated when she plays, then best to bring her in to the vet. This type of lump can be easily removed and they can determine exactly what it is at the vet clinic or a laboratory.
