Common causes for diarrhea in puppies includes food intolerance, food allergies, intestinal parasites, dietary indiscretion, bacterial or viral infection, stress colitis, among others. I would recommend that you continue feeding the same puppy food (now is not the time to change!) and use an OTC pet dewormer. If the diarrhea is not better in 24 hours, or if Chinoo starts vomiting, isn't interested in food, or becomes very lethargic, he should see a vet as soon as possible for diagnostics. After getting a history and thorough medical exam, the vet may recommend diagnostics such as intestinal parasite screen (some parasites don't respond to OTC medications), blood work, parvo test, or abdominal x-rays.
