Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 10 months old | 20 lbs
I recently got a job that is an hour away from my house. I have 3 girls and two of them have recently got into an issue of fighting. I want to start leaving them out while I am gone so they are not trapped in their kennel for 11 hours a day... Unfortunately, the fighting has just gotten worse. I'm afraid something bad will happen when I am not there to break it up.. I love my girls so much. I feel lost..

What a tricky situation! It can be difficult with females even when they are spayed. You may find that if you have them out in a larger area they naturally fight less as they are not in each others space as much. However, you obviously cant take any chances. What I would suggest would either be having someone you really trust checking them regularly, or you could purchase a cctv camera that you can log into from your phone/pc. You could use this to monitor the dogs whilst you are away. What I would suggest is putting humane Baskerville muzzles on them until you are satisfied they are not fighting. These muzzles dont effect there breathing or drinking. I would definitely have a trusted party who you could call if concerned. Otherwise you would need to consider seeking the help of a doggy behaviourist. Best of luck!
