My cat has fleas. Is my home flea treatment enough to get rid of them?

Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Female | spayed | 18 years and 7 months old | 5 lbs

Hello pet coach. Yesterday when my cat went to the vets for her post- operative check up,I found flea dirt on her. I immediately flead her when I got home, stupid me had missed a flea treatment last month. I put flea powder down on the couch and on my bedroom carpet, the landing and the stairs, waited half an hour and hoovered it up. I changed my cats bedding and my bedding and put it on a 60 degree wash. She came upstairs and sat on my changed bedding. Will that be okay?

You have done a great job so far! The way to get rid of fleas is to just keep up with what you are doing. I would apply flea prevention every 30 day. I would also continue to wash the bedding/blankets and treat the house at least for the next month.
