i was eating garlic knots and the topping of garlic fell on the floor and she ate some of it. what will happen? Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Female | spayed | 1 year and 10 months old | 18 lbs

If the topping was mostly parmesean cheese that had been cooked with garlic, it is unlikely to be toxic. If the topping was pure garlic, a small amount ingested by a dog would probably not cause issues, but to be on the safe side, I would recommend that you have Bella Roca examined by a veterinarian. Your vet may recommend that she have some baseline bloodwork and IV fluids for support. Alternatively, you can call the Pet Poison Helpline for consultation.
