My cat isn't swallowing food and keeps vomiting. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male | neutered | 1 year and 9 months old

Hi there. Im wondering if its okay for my cat not to swallow his food. I worry as he vommits maybe 2-3 times a week and sometime yes its hairball but mostly his food. Thank you

Yes. Most cats and dog dinner chew their food well and end up swallowing most part whole. This is not a problem but the vomiting that often is not normal. He may need a new food that is easier to digest such as a sensitive stomach type or you may need to talk to your vet about X-rays or blood work and medication
