My cat isn't swallowing food and keeps vomiting. What's wrong?

Hi there. Im wondering if its okay for my cat not to swallow his food. I worry as he vommits maybe 2-3 times a week and sometime yes its hairball but mostly his food. Thank you. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male | neutered | 1 year and 9 months old

Yes. Most cats and dog dinner chew their food well and end up swallowing most part whole. This is not a problem but the vomiting that often is not normal. He may need a new food that is easier to digest such as a sensitive stomach type or you may need to talk to your vet about X-rays or blood work and medication
