Our dog's stomach gurgles a few hours after her meal. Should we be concerned?

Not to worry! The gurgling sounds from Ellie's stomach and intestines simply indicate that everything is working as expected, as food and gas travel along the gastrointestinal tract. This is only a concern when the gurgling becomes constant and is coupled by changes in her appetite, vomiting, or diarrhea.

    Yes, it can be normal. It can also be a sign that he is going to break with diarrhea or have some other gastrointestinal upset. I suggest you just monitor him for now. If he starts with diarrhea, vomiting or not eating then I suggest you get him to your vet for an exam.
