Took my 3yr old tabby to my vet on the 3rd day of.occassional sneezing and he was examined and then given an antibiotic by injection. I was told to bring him back in 10 days. Today is the 2nd day after the injection an he is now coughing. I thought the antibiotic would prevent the cough. Should I take him in sooner?

Yes, you should take him back to the vet sooner. Coughing in cats is never a good symptom to have. There may be more going on than just a respiratory infection or if the infection is caused by a virus and not a bacteria then the antibiotic would not help. Omega may need more diagnostics like x-rays of the chest or some bloodwork. I hope this helps. Best wishes!
