Why is my kitten not eating, drinking, or playing and getting weak?

My friend gave me a kitten that looked barely old enough to be away from her mother at the time about 2-3 months ago well now all the sudden shes not wanting to eat or drink anything and shes starting to just lay around and not play like she used to i noticed shes getting weak and im very worried what could be wrong with her

If the little kitten was away from mum too soon it likely hasn't developed properly and its immune system could be compromised. They rely in their mummy for antibodies at first, and her milk is full of vital nutrients. She could have had a problem from birth, but I suspect she may have an infection somewhere. I would take her to the vet asap.
