Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered
My kitten is attacking everything in sight: my feet, the couch, random spots on the floor. everything even my hand when I try to pet him. Does he need to have play time more often or is this an affect of being an orphaned kitten and not learning cat social skills from his mother?

Some kittens tend to be more aggressive during play than others, and orphaned kittens certainly do tend to show more signs of aggression towards people. I bet he would benefit from some more structured play time - you could aim for 10-20 minutes three times a day. It is important not to try to punish him for this behavior since it could scare him and lead to fear aggression. The best thing to ignore if possible, or remove him and put him somewhere alone for a few minutes.
