Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | unspayed
if i get bit by my cat after it got only a first dose of anti-rabies, will i get infected with rabies? because i've seen stuff while surfing the net that the vaccine is made out of weakened rabies virus. is that still the process of making the vaccine? thanks.

You will not be able to acquire the rabies virus after being bitten by your cat that has been given the vaccine. The rabies vaccine is usually made from what is called a "killed vaccine" meaning that there are no live virus particles in the vaccine.
