My kitten has two bald spots on his neck. They don't seem to bother him. I was thinking it was from his claws since he is too crazy for me to clip them.

The two bald spots on Buddy's neck could be from his claws, but it could also be caused by fleas, mites, ringworm, or allergies. If he isn't up to date on his flea treatment, he will need a spot on treatment such as Advantage or Revolution. You will need to disinfect the environment as well. If he is up to date on his flea treatment, I recommend taking him into the vet for an exam tomorrow. The vet can do blood tests, skin scrapings, and use a Wood's lamp to diagnose allergies, mites, and ringworm. Once the cause of the hair loss is found, the vet can prescribe the appropriate treatment. The vet can also trim Buddy's claws for you. I would get a scratching post for the house, as that will help him keep his claws shorter.
