My senior dog has a growing neck lump and trouble breathing. What to do?

My granny dog is a chiwawa and her lump on her neck is growing slow my granny rubs it everyday sometimes it's hard for her to breathe is there something that we can do that not to costly my granny is on a fixed income but her dog is her everything please help

The lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Boo to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.
