My kittens have scabies. What are safe alternatives to Lindane?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 11 days old | 500 lbs

hi, my 6 weeks kittens ( two orphaned kittens) suffers from scabies on their skin. I live in Iran . the vet suggested me Lindane shampoo to wash them every two days . is there any other helpful way ? because Lindane is toxic . I don't know what to do?

I'm sorry to hear that both Chiko and his friend have scabies! Scabies can generally be treated fairly easily with a topical prescription-based product, such as Revolution when used every 2 weeks for several treatments. Consider discussing this treatment option with your vet rather than a Lindane shampoo (which truthfully, I have never even heard of). I hope this helps and that all goes well!
