Is it safe to give my dog human medicine like Benadryl or antibiotics?

Can dogs have people medicine? Like antibiotics? Or benederyl ?

Dogs can have some people medicines, if prescribed by your veterinarian. There are many medicines for people which are not suitable for dogs, and actually can be lethal. Please do not give your dog people medicine unless your vet prescribes or authorizes it.

    Dogs can only have these medications if they are prescribed by a vet. Dogs react differently to human medications than humans do, and you can accidentally do harm to your dog by giving these medications if they weren't prescribed by a vet first.
