No, it is not recommended to give your pet any medication without the advice of your veterinarian. Anything you may give can make the vomiting worse. Have Cutie seen by your vet to diagnose serious illness. You can also try withholding food for 24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. If the vomiting ceases, transition slowly to the regular diet. If not or if Cutie develops other symptoms, then you will need to definitely see your vet.

These signs could be compatible with an inflammation infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics and possibly further investigations (like abdominal imaging as ultrasound or radiographs) may be needed. Before you give your dog any medication, it is best to have an exam with your veterinarian to diagnose the underlying cause. You can try withholding food for 24 hours, allowing small amounts of water or an unflavored electrolyte replacement beverage. Afterwards, resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. Start with one tablespoon of food every hour and gradually increase the amount if there is no vomiting. Once vomiting has stopped for 24-48 hours, you can transition slowly to the regular diet. If the vomiting or lethargy persists or if the dog develops diarrhea, loses the appetite or experiences abdominal pain, then you need to take him directly to your veterinarian. A bland diet can be plain white rice mixed with one of the following: boiled/boneless skinless chicken breasts, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, cooked/drained ground beef or cooked/drained ground turkey.
