My dog has an itchy bump. Is it a skin tag? What if I don't treat it?

I noticed a weird bump on my dog. She's been itchy lately so I checked her skin and came across this on her side. I think it's a skin tag but I'm not sure. What would happen if it is a skin tag and it's left untreated? Thanks.

Hi. Yes, this looks like a skin tag and appears benign. Off course I can't say that for sure by a picture, but it appears that way. These don't have to be removed. There wouldn't be any downfall to not removing it unless it gets caught on something or secondary infections over and over. Great photos.
